External Catalog Site (WSDK) Overview

An External Catalog Site lets you use your own website while still taking advantage of NetSuite's shopping cart and checkout features.

With an External Catalog Site, your website is hosted by a third party, but the shopping cart, customer login, registration, and checkout pages are all hosted by NetSuite. To let customers move back and forth, copy and paste links from NetSuite into your website HTML, and give NetSuite links back to your site. Your customers can browse your site, view items, add them to the cart, change quantities, and place orders.

Benefits of Using an External Catalog Site

An External Catalog Site integrates your website with information stored in NetSuite, as well as ecommerce capabilities. Your site does real-time inventory checks using scripts from NetSuite that you add to your website HTML.
