Enabling the Advanced Revenue Management (Revenue Allocation) Feature

The Advanced Revenue Management (Revenue Allocation) feature is an add-on feature to the Advanced Revenue Management (Essentials) feature. This feature supports the use of fair value pricing, range checking, and fair value formulas to allocate revenue across several performance obligations. For more information about ARM (Essentials), see Enabling the Advanced Revenue Management (Essentials) Feature.

Your order-to-revenue workflow does not use ARM (Revenue Allocation) when the ARM in Configuration Mode feature is enabled. Disabling ARM (Revenue Allocation) while ARM in Configuration Mode is enabled deletes all your configurations for ARM (Revenue Allocation). For more information, see Advanced Revenue Management in Configuration Mode.

You can still configure ARM (Revenue Allocation) when the ARM in Configuration Mode feature is disabled. Any changes made to ARM (Revenue Allocation) settings while the ARM in Configuration Mode feature is disabled may impact how items are recognized.

Important:

After enabling ARM (Revenue Allocation) and disabling ARM in Configuration Mode, you cannot disable ARM (Revenue Allocation).
