Overwriting SDF Custom Objects with their Matching Objects Imported from the Account in SuiteCloud IDE Plug-in for WebStorm
You can overwrite your project's SDF custom objects with matching objects imported from your File Cabinet. Overwriting only works for SDF custom objects that have the same script ID and object type as the ones in your NetSuite account. For custom records, you can also overwrite the object along with its instances.
To overwrite SDF custom objects with objects from the account:
-
Open WebStorm and create or select your SuiteCloud project.
-
Choose how you want to overwrite your SDF custom objects.
-
To overwrite specific SDF custom objects, expand the Objects folder, right-click each object and click NetSuite > Update with Account Object.
Tip:For custom records, when asked Do you want to include all custom record instances?, click Yes to overwrite the SDF custom object and all its instances.
-
To overwrite all SDF custom objects, right-click the Objects folder and click NetSuite > Update All Objects with Account Objects.
-
-
If prompted, select the account and role you want to use, then click OK.
-
Click OK to confirm you want to update.
SDF connects to your NetSuite account and imports objects that share the same script ID as the SDF custom objects selected in your SuiteCloud project. The selected SDF custom objects from your project are then overwritten by their matching objects imported from your File Cabinet.
