To enable the Attestation feature, contact your account manager.

  2. Click on the Shifts tab then Approved Hours in the upper right-hand side.

    Note:

The red notification badge will have a number associated with it. This informs you about how many shifts that need to be attested by you.

Attesting Approved Shifts

Employees can accept or dispute approved shifts by starting a chat with their manager. Attesting approved shifts works the same way in both the SuitePeople Workforce Management phone app and SuitePeople Time Clock for iOS and Android tablet.

Accepting an Approved Shift

To accept the approved shift, click Accept. The dollar sign icon on the shift will turn green.

After the employee accepts their approved shift, a green checkmark icon appears on that shift in the weekly schedule view.

Disputing an Approved Shift

To dispute an approved shift, click Dispute.

After the employee enters a reason for the dispute and clicks Create, a chat with your manager opens and your reason is shown.

A dispute appears as a red approved shift in the weekly schedule view.

The manager can click View Disputes in the right corner of weekly schedule view to view disputed shifts.

Preventing Clock-in Events with Attestation

With this advanced Attestation feature, employees have to accept or dispute all approved shifts before they can clock in. This makes sure everyone knows their approved hours so any issues can be fixed before the next payroll run.
