Cumulative Translation Adjustment-Elimination (CTA-E)
The Cumulative Translation Adjustment-Elimination (CTA-E) account is a general ledger equity account required for processing intercompany eliminations in organizations that operate in multiple currencies. NetSuite adds CTA-E to your chart of accounts when you enable the Automated Intercompany Management feature. CTA-E has two purposes:

Acts as the clearing account for intercompany elimination journal entries

Tracks the foreign currency translation adjustment amounts that result from elimination journal entries
During intercompany eliminations, gains and losses from currency exchange rate fluctuation between the originating advanced intercompany journal and elimination journal entries automatically post to CTA-E.
You cannot delete the CTA-E account. The account has the following attributes:
