SaaS Metric Reporting
SaaS Metric Reporting uses the most common metric impacts for software as a service (SaaS) revenue reporting. SaaS Metric Reporting automatically generates the new, upsell, downsell, and churn impacts for tracked items across transactions and subscriptions. You can use these impacts in the Subscription Metrics SuiteApp Subscription Metrics SuiteApp, SuiteAnalytics, and the NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) to view monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR) across NetSuite.
SaaS Metric Reporting provides a singular, robust view of all of your recurring revenue data in one place. The SaaS metric functionality consumes data from multiple sources and translates the amounts into the required consistent recurring amounts. Using CSV import, you also can import non-NetSuite records such as spreadsheets.
SaaS Metric Reporting has the following records:
-
Impact Subcategory – The impact subcategory record lets you categorize impacts in more detail to fit your business model.
-
Analytical Impact – The system creates the analytical impact record from source line details. You can adjust impacts and split amounts into different calculated impacts.
-
Saas Metric – The SaaS Metric record, derived from the analytical impact record, forms the basis for SaaS Metric Reporting.
