Setting Inventory Optimization Preferences
Use Inventory Optimization preferences to set segmentation rules and schedule segmentation calculations.
To set Inventory Optimization preferences:

Go to Setup > Accounting > Inventory Management Preferences.

Click the Optimization Preferences subtab.

In the General section, set the Calculate Inventory Segmentation per Location preference. This option changes the unit of analysis.

In the ABC Categories section, review or enter the ABC threshold values.

In the 123 Categories section, review or enter the 123 threshold values.

In the Schedule Inventory Segmentation section, set whether to run segmentation on a schedule.

Click Save.
