Service Codes for Manaus (AM)

The Manaus (AM) tax authority uses its own set of codes to classify provided services. To certify e-documents for Manaus, the tax authority requires you to include a service code for the item in the transaction.

To generate e-documents that comply with this requirement, do the following:

• Verify which service codes from Manaus apply to your business.

• Verify whether you already have these service codes in NetSuite.

  NetSuite provides predefined service codes. To view the predefined codes, go to Lists > Brazil Tax Information > Service and MCN Codes.

• If the service codes that apply to your business aren't available in NetSuite, create them as item code records.
