How SuiteCommerce Email Domains Blocklist Works
After you enable SuiteCommerce Email Domains Blocklist for your web store, here’s how it works:
-
A customer enters their email address in a form as part of one of the following flows on your web store
-
Registration
-
Guest checkout
-
Skip checkout login
-
-
After the customer submits the form, NetSuite checks the domain part of their email to see if it’s blocked. For example, if the customer's email is
customer@example.com, NetSuite checksexample.com. -
The blocklist automatically combines a predefined list from NetSuite with your custom list of domains, removing any duplicates.
-
If the domain is on the blocklist, the customer sees a message telling them that they can't register with that email and need to use a different one.
-
If the domain isn't on the blocklist, the customer proceeds to registration or checkout.
