FSM Project Tasks
Project tasks are standard NetSuite Project Management records for work that spans multiple days or requires resource assignments, dependencies, or project scheduling. Project tasks are separate from CRM tasks and use project resource assignments instead of a single task assignee.
The project schedule, dependencies, resource assignments, and estimated work determine how the work is planned. To assign a technician to a project task, set up the technician as a Project Resource. Project tasks can appear in Mobile and on the Schedule Board when configured.
Project tasks do not support the Consumables model. Use the Sales Order workflow when technicians need to sell or use parts in the field.
Use project tasks when you need the additional planning capabilities of Project Management. For a single service visit, use a CRM task.
