Setting Up a Subsidiary Record

You must setup a subsidiary record before you start using the North America Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp. You must have access to Administrator role to setup the subsidiary record.

To setup the subsidiary record:

  1. Go to Setup > Company > Subsidiary Settings Manager.

  2. Select a subsidiary and click Edit on the subsidiary record.

  3. Fill the required fields on the subsidiary record.

  4. The selected country for the subsidiary must be United States.

  5. In the Legal Name field, enter the legal name of the subsidiary.

  6. From the North America Identification Type list, select one of the following identification types:

    • Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS)

    • Employee Identification Number (EIN)

    • Global Location Number (GLN)

    • Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)

    • Social Security Number (SSN)

  7. In the North America Identification Number field, enter the corresponding identification number based on the identification type you select from the North America Identification Type list.

  8. In the Address subtab, fill the required fields for North America's local address.

  9. Click Save.

    Note:

    You must complete the NetSuite Electronic Business (NSEB) setup and activate mandates required for the subsidiary. For more information about setting up NSEB and mandates, see NetSuite Electronic Business Overview.
