Entering Departmental Operating Expense Budget Values by Account
Use the OpEx Detail Budget form to update departmental Budget amounts by Account. If needed, you can add (or remove) detail lines per Account to enter detailed operating expense Budget by Account and in the selected Currency.
Where you enter single Budget values by Account on the OpEx by Dept Budget form, you can enter detailed Budget values on the OpEx Detail Budget form.

Updating Departmental Budget Amounts
Use this form to update departmental Budget amounts by detail line.
To update departmental Budget amounts:

From the Home page, click the Budget card.

Click the 3 tab on the left-hand side.

Click OpEX Detail.

In the Point of View (POV), select a Scenario, Version, Subsidiary, Currency, and Department.
Note:To enter Budget values in this form, you must set your POV to level 0 members.
If you use Forms 1.0, click the Go icon
to apply the changes to the POV.

Enter Budget values in the open (white) cells.

(Optional) In the third column, click an open cell to enter comments. You can enter comments only at the detail level.

Click Save.

To populate top-level members with the adjusted data in the input currency, right-click the data grid, and then select Agg to Income Statement Budget.
Adding or Removing Detail Lines
You can add detail lines, per Account, to enter detailed operating expense Budgets by Account and in the selected Currency. You can also remove detail lines that you do not need.
To add OpEx Budget detail lines:

In the first column, right-click the cell (data area) of the relevant Account in the first column, and then select Add Detail Lines.

If you use Forms 1.0, in the Add Detail Lines window, enter the number of lines to add.
If you use Forms 2.0, in the drawer, enter the number of detail lines to add and select an Account.

Click Launch.

If a popup window confirms that the action was successful, click OK.
To remove OpEx Budget detail lines:

Click the detail line in that you want to remove in the Amount with Details column. This action highlights the row of the detail line.
Right-click the cell in the Amount with Details column, and then select Remove Detail Lines.

In Remove Detail Lines drawer, ensure that the selected detail line is the one you want to remove.

Click Launch.

If a popup window confirms that the action was successful, click OK.
