Deal Stages
Access to the Opportunities application is restricted. As communicated in the SuiteProjects Pro 2023.2 release notes, enabling the Opportunities application is no longer permitted. You can continue using the Opportunities if it is currently enabled in your account.
As an alternative to using the Opportunities module, consider using project stages to track projects through the sales cycle. For more information about project stages, see Project Stages.
Deals are the primary object in tracking pipeline opportunities in SuiteProjects Pro when using the Opportunities application. Deals, when created, may be matured to include estimates and can result in a proposal in the Opportunities application or project in the Projects application.
When creating a deal, a standard field on the deal form is the Deal Stage. Deal stages can be defined per your established sales process to track maturity of an opportunity in the pipeline.
To define a Deal stage:

Go to Administration > Application Settings > Opportunities > Deal stages.

Select New Deal stage from the Create Button.

Enter the Deal stage name and a representative Percentage to be used for weighted pipeline reporting. As deal stages are entered, you also can indicate the order in which the deal stages are presented to the employee in the drop-down field option on the deal form.

Add Notes about the deal stage, if desired.

Click Save.
