Auto-Create Bookings for Generic Resources

This feature lets you create a baseline of bookings for generic resources before resources have been committed to it. This feature will create bookings for each generic resource assigned to a project, using a button on the outline view. The feature can only be enabled if ‘Enable approvals for bookings' is enabled.

Account administrators can control who can create bookings for generic resources from the outline view using the Create bookings for generics from project plan role permission. Users do not need to have the permission to view or create and modify bookings, or to access the Resources application to use this functionality if they have the Create bookings for generics from project plan role permission.
