Business Intelligence Connector — Security Considerations

The Business Intelligence Connector feature allows you to access SuiteProjects Pro data as an OData V4 data feed from other applications without the need to write any code. Contact your SuiteProjects Pro account manager to enable the Business Intelligence Connector feature on your account.

• The SuiteProjects Pro OData service follows the same security best practice as SuiteProjects Pro.

• All data is encrypted in transport using the industry standard transport layer security (TLS) protocol.

• Your published report and list data is stored securely on SuiteProjects Pro servers.

• You can remove published resources from the SuiteProjects Pro OData service at any time.

• You must enter your SuiteProjects Pro sign-in details to access published resources from your SuiteProjects Pro OData feed.

• You can only access published resources from the SuiteProjects Pro OData service if the Business Intelligence Connector feature is enabled for your account and if you have the relevant role permissions.

• Access to your SuiteProjects Pro OData feed resource data is read-only.

• Data access in the SuiteProjects Pro OData feed follow the same privileges and restrictions as in SuiteProjects Pro.

• Administrators can control employees access to the Business Intelligence Connector functionality by role permission:

  • Publish reports

  • Enable publishing of shared reports to OData service with recipient's permission

  • Enable publishing of shared reports to OData service with owner's permissions

  • Publish ListView via OData
