Token Based Authentication Credentials

The NetSuite integration uses token-based authentication (TBA) to access NetSuite. Valid TBA User token ID and TBA User token secret are required on the Credentials tab in SuiteProjects Pro for the integration to work.

If the integration reports an authentication error or if the NetSuite Connector Health Check reports that the TBA credentials are not valid, do the following:

  1. Verify that an integration record was created for the SuiteProjects Pro integration in NetSuite. To view integration records, sign in to NetSuite as an account administrator, then go to Setup > Integration > Manage Integrations. If it does not already exist, create an integration record. See Creating an Integration Record for the SuiteProjects Pro Integration.

  2. Verify that an access token was created for the main integration user and role. To view your access tokens, sign in to NetSuite as the main integration user, go to the Settings portlet, then click Manage access tokens. If it does not already exist, create an access token for the main integration user and role. See Creating and Assigning an Access Token for the Integration.

  3. In SuiteProjects Pro, go to Administration > NetSuite Connector > Credentials and verify the following information:

    1. Account ID — Verify the value matches the account ID for your NetSuite account.

    2. Application ID, Consumer key and Consumer secret — This information is displayed when you create an integration record in NetSuite. You may need to generate a new Consumer Key and Consumer Secret as this information is only displayed one time. See Creating an Integration Record for the SuiteProjects Pro Integration.

    3. User token ID and User token secret — Copy the User token ID and the User Token secret from the Access Token page in NetSuite, and paste it on the Credentials tab in SuiteProjects Pro.
