Activate and Run the Recipe

After you've configured the connections and other resources, you can activate and run the recipe.

  1. Activate the recipe. See Activate a Recipe or Accelerator.
  2. Run the recipe.
    1. Log in to your Oracle B2C Service instance and create, update or delete an incident.
      • When an incident is created in Oracle B2C Service, the Oracle OSvC OFSC Activity Create integration flow is triggered, and it creates a corresponding activity in Oracle Field Service Cloud.
      • When an incident is updated in Oracle B2C Service, the Oracle OSvC OFSC Activity Update is triggered, and it updates the corresponding activity in Oracle Field Service Cloud.
      • When an incident is deleted in Oracle B2C Service, the Oracle OSvC OFSC Activity Delete integration flow is triggered, and it deletes the corresponding activity in Oracle Field Service Cloud.
    2. Log in to your Oracle Field Service Cloud instance and create/update a resource or update an activity.
      • When a resource is created in Oracle Field Service Cloud, the Oracle OFSC OSvC Resource Create integration flow is triggered, and it creates a corresponding resource in Oracle B2C Service.
      • When a resource is updated in Oracle Field Service Cloud, the Oracle OFSC OSvC Resource Update integration flow is triggered, and it updates the corresponding resource in Oracle B2C Service.
      • When an activity is updated in Oracle Field Service Cloud, the Oracle OFSC OSvC Incident Update is triggered, and it updates the corresponding incident in Oracle B2C Service.
  3. Monitor the running of the integration flow in Oracle Integration. See Monitor Integrations.
  4. If you've created, updated or deleted an incident in Oracle B2C Service, check if the corresponding activity has been created, updated or deleted in Oracle Field Service Cloud.
  5. If you've created or updated a resource in Oracle Field Service Cloud, check if the corresponding resource has been created or updated in Oracle B2C Service. If you've updated an activity in Oracle Field Service Cloud, check if the corresponding incident has been updated in Oracle B2C Service.
