Deactivate a Workflow or Form
You can deactivate a workflow or form manually when required.
You may manually deactivate a workflow or form in specific scenarios, such as:
- Error mitigation: In case of unforeseen errors, deactivation is a quick way to prevent a faulty workflow or form from impacting business processes. You can edit the workflow or form to correct errors and reactivate it.
- Retire and replace: When a new, major version of the workflow or form is ready, you may need to retire the older version.
- Maintenance: During system maintenance or troubleshooting, you can temporarily deactivate workflows and forms to prevent errors from system unavailability.
Deactivate a Workflow
Within a minor version family (for example, x.x.1), only one workflow can be active at a time. If version 1.0.1 is active and you activate version 1.0.2, the system automatically deactivates 1.0.1 and sets 1.0.2 as active.
