Set the WebSphere Express or Developer Default JDK for the New Profile

Use this procedure to set the WebSphere Express or Developer default JDK for the profile that you created in the section of this chapter entitled: Creating a Profile.

  1. Open a command prompt window with Run as administrator.

  2. Change directory to the \bin directory of the \profile directory for your WebSphere Express or Developer. For example:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer2\profiles\AppSrv01\bin

  3. Run this command:

    managesdk.bat -enableProfileAll -sdkname 1.8_32 -enableServers

    Caution:

    If you create a new WebSphere Express or Developer profile in the future, you will need to rerun the above command.
