Deploying the Configuration File Using the Web Client
To deploy the imported configuration file using the web client:
- Access the Work With Software Updates application from the Software Updates menu (GH9612).
- On the Work With Software Updates form, enter

(Configurations) in the Software Update Type field and click Find. - Select the configuration file from the grid.
- Select the Row menu and click Deploy.
- The Software Update Environment Selection form is displayed. Select the Backup check box if required. It is not selected by default.
- Select the checkbox corresponding to the environment(s) that you want to deploy the configuration package to.
- To verify the list of objects that will be applied, click the Row menu and select Affected Objects.
- Click Close to exit.
- Click OK on the Software Update Environment Selection form to launch the deployment.
- Click OK in Warning dialog box. Note: The warning message is displayed only when you schedule Load Configuration Data.
- The Software Updates Status on the Work With Software Updates form shows the progress. When the deployment is complete, the system displays 100% complete status in the Deployment Status pane.
- Click Find on the Work With Software Updates form to refresh the grid columns.
- Click Refresh in the Software Update Plan History pane.
- Click the View Output icon in the grid column to download the Web Deploy Summary report.
