Deploying Configurations Using Change Assistant (Release 9.2.9)

Certain types of deliverables are categorized as Configurations.

  • Configuration files that you can download from the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Update Center are:
    • Data Packs
    • EnterpriseOne Samples
  • Custom Configurations are created with Configuration Assistant and delivered to the Customer by the Business Partner.

Beginning with Tools Release 9.2.9, you can use the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Change Assistant to deploy Configurations.

There are two methods of deploying Configurations using Change Assistant.
  • Deploying Configurations using Change Assistant on the Deployment Server.
  • Deploying Configurations using Change Assistant with the Applications Interface Server (AIS) from a web client (without Deployment Server).
