Clearing Formatting

To clear the formatting associated with a form or saved ad hoc grid opened as a form:

Selecting the Clear option removes any Excel formatting associated with the form or grid, both within Excel and within the web application. Note that you can still work with cell styles functionality since cell styles are not dependent on any custom formatting that is saved.

  1. Open the form.

    Note:

    You must begin with a newly-opened form. If you have already applied a formatting option, then the Clear action will revert the display back to the last applied display selection.

  2. Select Clear from the Formatting group in the provider ribbon; for example, the Planning ribbon.
