Activate Offer Adjustments Asynchronously Based on a Threshold

Activate offer adjustments in asynchronous mode based on a threshold of the number of lines to process. You can set this threshold by defining a profile value for the profile option OZF: Number of Lines for Asynchronous Adjustment Activation at the Site or Operating Unit level.

When the number of qualifiers or product lines exceeds the threshold, the activation of the adjustments is processed asynchronously, which minimizes the UI wait time. The default value is null.

Prior to Release 12.2.15, when you initiated an offer adjustment with a large number of qualifiers or product lines, the system prevented you from leaving the page until the process was completed.

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature, set the profile option OZF: Number of Lines for Asynchronous Adjustment Activation to a numeric value. This number represents the product lines in the offer adjustment and is used to determine whether the adjustment activation runs synchronously or asynchronously. You can set the profile at the Site or Operating Unit level.
