View Documents Attached to Process Instructions in the Electronic Record and Control Batch Record

You can now view documents attached to electronically signed process instructions in an electronic record (e-record) and a control batch record (CBR). The documents are now part of the electronic record and can be accessed along with the record.

Prior to Release 12.2.15, there was no option to view documents attached to process instructions in an e-record or a CBR.

With E-Signature enabled, any attachments uploaded during instruction execution are automatically included in the generated eRecord. These attachments are also displayed in the Attachments section of the E-Signature page. Additionally, documents that become part of the eRecord are seamlessly merged into the CBR when it is finalized. The Control Batch Record (CBR) consolidates all attached documents related to specific events and appends them to the end of the generated CBR PDF. You can view all image and PDF attachments within the CBR, and any attachments selected for merging will appear at the end of the document.

Steps to Enable

To ensure that attachments uploaded during the instruction execution flow are included in your eRecord and CBR, set the workflow subscription parameter EDR_COPY_ATTACHMENTS to Y for the GMO ERES Instruction Complete event. By default, this parameter is set to N, so attachments are not merged unless you update this setting.
