Maintain Items Using Templates Independent of an Item Catalog Category
When creating or updating an item, you can now use templates regardless of whether they are either associated with an Item Catalog Category (ICC) or not. This enables you to use templates for operational attributes without linking them to an ICC.
Prior to Release 12.2.15, item templates could only be used if they were linked to an ICC during creation or updates.
Currently, when creating or updating an item, the Item Catalog Category displays only its associated templates.s only its associated templates.
You can now use templates that are not associated with any Item Catalog Category when creating an item.
This functionality is also available when updating the item.
This functionality is also available in the Excel Import.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
