Export APM Domain Configuration
- Export the APM domain configuration to a
file.
It extracts the configuration items and save it as a JSON file. You can export the entire configuration or just individual configuration items as needed.

It seamlessly transfers the configurations between APM domains without using files. You can copy the entire configuration or just individual configuration items as needed.
Export
Export downloads the domain configuration in a
JSON
file which can be uploaded to a domain
in a different region.
- On the Domain details page, click Export.
- In the Export domain configuration dialog box, select Export to disk.
- Select the specific configuration type that
you want to export by using the checkbox.
To export all the configuration types, leave the selection empty (leave them all unchecked).
- Click Submit.
The JSON file is created, named after the domain containing all the selected domain configuration.
Export Single Configuration Items: You can export or copy specific configuration items at resource level using the Export action.
For example, when managing Span Filters, click the More Options icon next to the filter and select Export to open a dialog where you can either export the item to a JSON file or copy it directly to another domain.
Copy to a Domain
- On the Domain details page, click Export.
- In the Export domain configuration dialog box, select Copy to a Domain.
- Use the Select dropdown to choose the APM target domain to copy the configurations to.
- Select the specific configuration type that you want
to copy to the target domain by using the checkbox.
To copy all the configuration types, leave the selection empty (leave them all unchecked).
- Click Submit.
