Edit ECSpecs

Before you begin


Caution:
You can create or edit only one ECSpec at a time. If you create or edit a second ECSpec simultaneously, you will overwrite the properties in the first ECSpec. To preserve your data, click Save Properties in the ECSpec Editor.

To edit an ECSpec:

  1. In the left pane of the Console, expand the node for an Edge Server and select ECSpecs.
  2. In the ECSpecs table, click on the name of the ECSpec which you want to edit.

    The ECSpec in XML format appears.

  3. Click Edit ECSpec.
    The ECSpec Editor displays the ECSpec.

    Note: ECSpec Editor opens in a pop-up window. You must turn off pop-up blockers to use it.

  4. Edit the ECSpec, and add, remove or edit reports, filters, and grouping information.

  5. Deploy the finished ECSpec by clicking Deploy.

Result

The revised ECSpec is deployed.
