BEA AquaLogic Service RegistryTM is a fully v3-compliant implementation of UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration), and is a key component of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). It is an easy-to-use, standards-based mechanism for publishing and discovering Web services and related SOA resources such as WSDL, XML Schemas, and XSLT transformations.
BEA AquaLogic Service Registry supports the business services lifecycle with a configurable Business Service Console. Services are enabled using mappings of SOA resources, and are easily published using wizards. Design efforts and runtime discovery are facilitated by a secure interface to browse service information, change notification, and standard UDDI data access. Service management features include replication, the mapping of Quality of Service (QoS) information, and advanced business service classification. For SOA governance, it provides core and lifecycle services, including the industry's strongest support for security and approval processes. The console also has advanced functionality for security, scalability, and reliability.
BEA AquaLogic Service Registry has been designed specifically for enterprise deployment and includes many advanced features that ease configuration, deployment, management and security. BEA AquaLogic Service Registry is also easy to customize to support different enterprise user communities.
BEA AquaLogic Service Registry is a platform-independent solution that is easily deployed in a wide variety of settings. It can run either standalone or within an application server. Many application servers are supported including Tomcat, BEA WebLogic Server, IBM Websphere, and JBoss. BEA AquaLogic Service Registry integrates with both LDAP and Microsoft ActiveDirectory.
AquaLogic Service Registry 2.0.1 is a service pack released to extend the AquaLogic Service Registry Business Service Console's interface so that it can display Keyed Reference Group entities under the Reports section and on the entity details page, in a manner consistent with proxy services published into AquaLogic Service Registry from BEA AquaLogic Service Bus.
The following lists the BEA supported configurations for AquaLogic Service Registry 2.0.1. This list is in addition to any supported configurations in the product documentation.
BEA provides full support for the above configurations only. We are continuously working to provide support for more configurations. Please contact your sales representative for information about configurations not listed in this table.
