Patch Management in Database Management

Patch Management for Oracle Databases allows you to remediate the vulnerabilities identified through Vulnerability Detection, by using recommended security patches or the CVE ID for your fleet of databases. Using Patch Management, you can:

• Prioritize critical system remediation based on vulnerability severity, database version, or compliance status, using Gold Image-based out-of-place patching.
• Automate workflows to create, modify, and refresh Gold Images with the latest CPU, RU, MRP, and one-off patches to patch or upgrade a single database or a fleet of databases.
