:- Added support for updating instance metadata.
Usage:
oci-metadata --update KEY=VALUE [KEY=VALUE, ...]
VALUE can be a string, a JSON value, or a pointer to a file with JSON content in the format:
KEY=file:/path-to-file
- Added support to retrieve and update the instance metadata using the intance OCID.
Usage:
oci-metadata --instance-id OCID
- Added support to export keys as environment variables to use with the
-g
option when executing in a bash shell.Usage:
oci-metadata --get KEY --export
For example:

Oracle Linux platform images are based on the most recent release of Oracle Linux and are updated monthly. If you need to confirm the status of certifications, such as FIPS 140-3 or Common Criteria, see the Oracle Security Evaluations page for the latest information. FIPS mode is not enabled in Oracle Linux platform images. To modify this setting, see the FIPS section of the Oracle Linux Security Guide under Oracle Linux documentation or contact support for assistance.
