    • For Nvidia/CUDA related yum updates, it is recommended that you enable ol7_developer_EPEL channel to ensure that you obtain any dependent packages in that channel.
    • Packages found in the ol7_developer_EPEL repository are considered unsupported and are only entitled to basic installation support. Content from this repository is not recommended for production environments and is intended for developer purposes only.

Security and Compliance

Oracle Linux platform images are based on the most recent release of Oracle Linux and are updated monthly. If you need to confirm the status of certifications, such as FIPS 140-3 or Common Criteria, see the Oracle Security Evaluations page for the latest information. FIPS mode is not enabled in Oracle Linux platform images. To modify this setting, see the FIPS section of the Oracle Linux Security Guide under Oracle Linux documentation or contact support for assistance.
