After installing or uninstalling Oracle Hardware Management Pack, you can perform additional cleanup, if desired.

• After an installation, the temporary directory can be deleted:

  /tmp/hmptemp

• After an uninstallation, the following directories can be deleted:

  If you are uninstalling Oracle Hardware Management Pack with the intention of installing a newer version, you should leave the directories left over from the uninstallation as they will be used for the new installation.

  • The temporary directory:

  • The directories for vendor tool support packages. These might include:

    /opt/QLogic_Corporation

    /var/opt/emulex/

    /usr/sbin/ocmanager/

    /etc/emulex/
