Getting Started

Note:

Starting with Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.4.9.0, the only installation option available is a manual installation. For information on how to manually install Oracle Hardware Management Pack, see Installing the Software Manually.

The following methods are available for installing the Hardware Management Pack components:

  • GUI mode

  • Console mode

  • Silent mode

Regardless of the installation method you choose, you must be logged on with administrative privileges, such as root on the Oracle Solaris operating system (OS) or a Linux based OS.
