ILOM Watchdog Parameters
The ILOM watchdog parameters can be set by the user in one of the following ways:

Preferred method: Use the
ilomconfig modify ilomwatchdogcommand with theilomwatchdogtarget to change the parameters. See ILOM Watchdog ilomconfig Commands. -
Manually edit the configuration file. See Manually Edit the Configuration File in Oracle Hardware Management Pack 2.4 Server Management Agents User’s Guide.
The following table lists the ILOM watchdog parameters.

Query Time Interval |

The periodic time interval, in seconds, at which the host will send a query to Oracle ILOM. If Oracle ILOM does not respond, then this indicates that Oracle ILOM is unresponsive, and the host performs the Timer Action. |

Number of Consecutive SP Resets |

If the value of Timer Action is Reset, this parameter tells the host the number of times the host resets the SP until it gives up. |
