Configuring the BIOS CMOS
The BIOS configuration information is stored in the CMOS memory in the host's chipset. You can use biosconfig
to modify these settings with a program on the host OS. Alternatively, you can configure many of the CMOS settings through the BIOS setup interface at BIOS POST.
biosconfig
configures the BIOS CMOS settings using two methods:

Copying and using a golden (known reliable) image
