4 Using biosconfig to Update the BIOS
biosconfig
configures the BIOS CMOS settings, host boot order, and some service processor settings.
Oracle Solaris OS biosconfig
consists of an Oracle Solaris OS
biosdrv
driver and the biosconfig
application.
Note:
The biosconfig
tool is used to configure system BIOS (also called "legacy BIOS") on supported Oracle x86 servers. Servers that support UEFI BIOS must use the ubiosconfig
tool. See Using ubiosconfig to Update the UEFI BIOS.
