Download an Image Log File

Using the Image Builder page, Cockpit administrators can download the log file that's associated with a blueprint image.

What Do You Need?

The Cockpit web console must be installed and accessible.
For details, see these topics: Install and Enable Cockpit and Log in to the Cockpit Web Console.
Image Builder packages must be installed on the host system. The cockpit-composer add-on application must be configured.
For details, see Install and Configure Cockpit-Composer
A least one generated blueprint image must be available on the host.
Administrator privileges.

Steps

Using the Cockpit web console, follow these steps to download a generated image for use.

In the Cockpit navigation pane, click Image Builder.
The Image Builder page appears.
In the Image Builder page, do the following:
1. Click the Blueprints link to view all the saved blueprints.
2. Click the blueprint name that's associated with image log file you want to download.
3. In the selected blueprint [name] page, click Images to view all the images generated from this blueprint.
4. In the image list, navigate to the image ID that's associated with the log files you want to download, and then click Download logs.
  The log files are downloaded to the default file path set on the web browser. Click the download menu on the browser to open the location of the downloaded log files.
