ics:getvar
Returns the value of a Sites variable.
Syntax
<ics:getvar name="varname" encoding="default" [output="variable name"]/>Parameters
name (required)
- Name of the variable.
encoding (required)
- Encoding used to convert binary values to a string. The value of this parameter must be set to
default
.
output (optional)
- Specifies an optional output variable. If this parameter is not specified, the output is streamed to the browser.
Description
The
ics:getvar
tag returns the value of a variable. If the variable does not exist,ics:getvar
returns an empty string.Error Numbers
There are no possible
errno
for this tag.Example
The following line retrieves the value of the Sites variable
username.
