3.24.3.2 Create Authoritative Application - Basic Information

The Basic Information tab allows you to select the application you wish to onboard.

Element Description

Connector

Select to create the application from connector package.

Select Connector list

Select the connector type from the list.

Alternate Connector Directory

Enter the alternate path from where connector template has to be loaded.

Reload

Click to reload connector list after providing the alternate directory path.

Template

Select to create the application from Template.

Select Template

Select the template from the list.

Application Name

Enter the application name.

Display Name

Enter the display name.

Description

Enter description for the application.

Connector Display Name

Displays the name of the connector selected in Select Connector or Select Template.

Basic Configuration

This tab displays the basic configuration parameters for the selected connector. Click Test Connection. Click Description against the parameter to view the description of the parameter.

Advanced Settings

This tab displays the advanced settings parameters for the selected connector. Click Description against the parameter to view the description of the parameter.

If you have selected Flat File connector in the Select Bundle drop-down, then the below settings are required:

  • flatFileLocation: Enter the flat file location.

  • Parse Headers: Click Parse Headers to list all the Field Names present in the Advanced attribute list of the flat file that is specified in the flatFileLocation field. Flat File Schema Properties section is displayed.

  • Use the Flat File Schema Properties section to create the Flat File schema by defining the below options for the Flat File Fields:

    • Add Field: Click to add a new field to the schema.

    • Attribute: Displays the name of the Flat File Field.

    • MVA: Select if the attribute is a multi value attribute.

    • Complex MVA: Click Add Attribute to create the complex multi value attribute and specify the Sub Field names.

    • Data Type: Select the data type.

    • Name: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to _Name_.

    • UID: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to _UID_.

    • Status: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to status.

    • Mandatory: Select if it is mandatory to get the value of this field from the target system. This option is selected when Name or UID is selected.

    • Delete: Click to delete the attribute.
