9.17 Upgrade Connector

Use the Upgrade Connector option to upgrade a connector.

Element Description

Back

Click Back to navigate to the previous page.

Select

Click Select to open the Select Connector to Install tab.

  • Connector List: Select the connector that you want to upgrade from the list of names and release numbers of connectors whose installation files you would copy into the default connector installation directory or the list of connectors from the specified alternative directory.

  • Reset: Click Reset to reset the connector list to show all the connectors present in the default directory.

  • Alternative Directory: Enter the full path of the alternate directory where the connector installation files are present.

  • Load: Click Load to list the connector that are present in the specified alternative directory.

Resource Object

Click Resource Object to map each new resource object with an existing resource object.

  • Existing Resource Objects: Select the resource object in the source release to which you want to map the resource object in the target release.

  • New Resource Objects: Select None if there are new resource objects that do not have a corresponding resource object in the source release.

  • Edit: Click Edit to update the Resource Object mapping. List of unmapped Resource Objects is displayed in a table. In the Remove column, Select Remove to remove the unmapped Resource Object.

  • Preview: Click Preview to view edit changes.

Process Definition

Click Process Definition to map each new process definition with an existing process definition.

  • New Process Definitions: Displays the new process definition that is mapped to the existing process definition.

  • Existing Process Definitions: Displays the corresponding source process definition in the existing process definition.

  • Process Task: Displays the list of process tasks available in the source process definition. Select Retain to retain that process task from the source process definition.

Form Definition

Click Form Definition to map each new form with an existing form.

  • New Forms: Displays the new form that is mapped to the existing form.

  • Existing Forms: Displays the corresponding process form definition in the existing form.

  • Form Columns: Click to view the process form fields from the source process form attributes that are not available in the target process form and are to be merged to the form. Select Selected for the attributes that are added as a part of customization.

Resources and Scheduling

Click Resources and Scheduling to map each new IT resource definition with an existing IT resource definition.

  • New Object Names: Displays the new IT resource type definition that is mapped with the existing IT resource type definition.

  • Existing Object Names: Displays the corresponding source IT resource type definition in the existing IT resource type definition.

  • Scheduled Task: Displays the scheduled tasks from the existing resource definition that needs to be deleted. Select Retain for the task that are added as part of customization.

  • Lookups Definition: Displays the lookup definitions from the existing resource definition that needs to be deleted. Select Selected for the lookups that are added as a part of customization.

Details

Click Details to view and review the selections made in the previous tabs. Upgrade option is enabled in this tab.

Summary

Click Summary to check the connector upgrade status.

Cancel

Click Cancel to exit this page without upgrading the connector.

Next

Click Next to navigate to the next page.

Upgrade

Click Upgrade to start upgrading the connector.

Exit

Click Exit to exit the Upgrade Connector page.
