Uninstalling Oracle GoldenGate from a Windows System

Log on to the operating system as the system administrator or as a user with permission to issue Oracle GoldenGate commands and to delete files and directories from the operating system.

Ensure all Oracle GoldenGate processes are stopped, and any database objects have been removed based on instructions in Removing Database Objects.

(Windows Cluster) Use the Cluster Administrator tool to take the Manager resource offline.

(Windows Cluster) Right click the resource and select Delete to remove it.

Click Start, Run, and then type
cmd
in the Run dialog box to open the command console. -
Change directories to the Oracle GoldenGate installation directory.

Remove the Manager service and events using the
INSTALL
utility with the following syntax:INSTALL DELETEEVENTS DELETESERVICE

(Windows Cluster) Move the cluster group to the next node in the cluster and repeat the process from step 6.

Remove the Oracle GoldenGate files by removing the installation directory.
