Accessibility Features and Tips for Oracle Unified Directory
Oracle Unified Directory Services Manager has been designed to use accessibility options in the application user interface with screen readers, to enable support of high-contrast colors, and to enable support for large fonts.
Enabling Accessibility Mode for OUD-OUDSM
Before you enable screen reader support, ensure that you have enabled Java Access Bridge.
To enable accessibility mode, perform the following steps:

Click Accessibility on the top corner of the OUDSM interface login page.
- Choose the options from drop-down list:

I use a screen reader: Select this option to enable screen reader mode.

I use high contrast colors: Select this option to enable high-contrast features in the browsers which are compatible with OUDSM user interface.

I use large fonts: Select this option to enhance the font size. By default, fonts have fixed length and size to have a better look and feel of the user interface.

Continue to work on OUDSM interface.
Enabling Accessibility Mode for OUD CLI Utilities
To enable accessibility mode for CLI utilities such as oud-setup
, oud-proxy-setup
and oud-replication-gateway-setup
, run the following command:
%JRE_HOME%\bin\jabswitch -enable
This allows Java Access Bridge to enable Java Applications and applets that are required to implement the Java Accessibility API.
