What’s New in 14.1.2.0.0

Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle ADF 14.1.2 provide an upgrade path for existing customers using earlier versions. Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle ADF 14.1.2 are built on updated versions of Oracle WebLogic Server 14.1.2 and therefore leverages the new features delivered in these products. You can also leverage the new features and capabilities provided in Java 17 and Java 21.

New features include

  • Support for Java 17 code syntax
  • A new DB Connection type, "Oracle Cloud DB using Wallet". See Create a CloudDB/ATPDB Database Connection in Developing Applications with Oracle JDeveloper.
  • A new WebLogic connection option, "Use WebLogic Management REST APIs"
