Join Diagram Reference
Use the Join Diagram in the dataset editor to define relationships in your data.

Add a table to the dataset. Select Add Data to add file-based data or database tables to the Data Panel. From the Data Panel, drag tables onto the Join Diagram to add data to the dataset. See Add a File to a Dataset Created From a Connection. |

Determine whether a table is configured to always be included in queries. See Include a Dataset Table in Data Source Queries. |
![]() Auto Join Tables |
Determine whether Oracle Analytics automatically creates relationships between tables when you drag and drop tables onto the Join Diagram. By default Oracle Analytics creates joins where common keys are detected in tables, but in some cases you might want to turn off automatic join creation and manually create table joins. |
