You can upgrade your Oracle Business Intelligence 12c 12.2.1.4.0 system or a previous update of Oracle Analytics Server to the latest update of Oracle Analytics Server.

If your existing Oracle Business Intelligence system is earlier than the 12c 12.2.1.4.0 release, you must first upgrade your software to the 12c 12.2.1.4.0 release before you upgrade to Oracle Analytics Server.
