Switch Between Auto and Manual Modes in Present

Setting Auto Mode or Manual Mode in Present determines what type of changes you can make to the presentation flow's canvases and visualizations.

  1. On the Home page, hover over a workbook, click Actions, then select Open.
  2. Click Present and go to the bottom of the Present page and locate the mode button This image shows the mode padlock button.
  3. Depending on which mode you're using, do one of the following:
    • Click Switch to Manual mode This image shows the auto mode button (a locked padlock), indicating that canvases are locked for rename, reorder and hide. to switch from auto mode to manual mode.
    • Click Switch to Auto mode This image shows the manual mode button (an unlocked padlock), indicating that canvases are unlocked for you to rename, reorder or hide. to switch from manual mode to auto mode.
