This document summarizes the changes to NetSuite for Government Utility Billing between 26.8.1 and the previous release. These release notes are subject to change every week.
Customer Cloud Services (CCS): – Release Date August 30, 2026
- Meter Read Download and Upload functionality for customers that use Beacon software.
- New Functionality - Calculation of a winter average for sewer consumption based on water consumption over a specified time period divided by the number of periods. Value stored as a Sewer Contract Quantity.
- Offset Lien process correction. Always create Lien fee when previous lien fee exists.
- Reporting - Update to County Lien Report to base information on Adjustment Date instead of SA Start Date.
- New Access Group created and assigned to all Lien and Collection accounts to limit access for certain users.
- Updating of access group to LIENCOLL on any new account created as part of the Offset process.
- Offset process logic change to add an additional check to see if both notification letters have been created before proceeding with a Lien or Collections offset. If not, the account will be skipped from normal processing logic.
- Move In/Out Process - Remove the Lien Exempt flag from an account when a move out occurs and create a To Do to notify the utility of this account characteristic removal.
- Offset Process logic change to apply any overpayment SA credit to service SA's when evaluation past due debt eligible for Lien or Collections.
- Move In process and properly setting the Collection Class to GEN when creating new accounts.
- Customer specific data correction for adding Collection Class to accounts missing this value that are not Lien/Collection accounts.
- Move out processing logic update. Remove the Lien Exempt Account char at time of move out if exists and create a to do.
