Work with tables

Throughout Oracle Empirica, data is presented in tables.

  • About tables
    Many of the Oracle Empirica Signal pages present information in a tabular format. This topic describes how to work with this tabular information.
  • Arrange table columns and rows
    To select, arrange, sort, and filter the columns and rows in the table, use the Columns and Rows links.
  • Apply filters
    For many tables, you can reduce the amount of data displayed to make finding and comparing rows easier by filtering the data.
  • Specify a SQL WHERE clause
    At certain places in Oracle Empirica Signal, you can specify a SQL WHERE clause to restrict rows of a table or a report.
  • Download data
    When you view a table or case details, you can download the information to various types of files.
  • Print a table
    You can print an entire table or only the currently displayed page of a table.
  • Use hierarchy tables
    Data configurations defined in older versions of the Oracle Empirica Signal application might have used hierarchy tables instead of an event hierarchy account to set up hierarchies for events.
