Available validation rules by question type

You can create a validation rule for any type of question. Do this when you want to ensure that the answers provided meet specific requirements. The options available for validation rules differ for each question type.

Depending on the type of question you are working with, you can define more than one validation rule for a question. For more information see About validation rules.

Note:

File Upload type questions do not support validation rules.

Radio buttons
  • Answer Must Be
  • Answer that users must select for screening requirements.
  • Answer that users must select for entering a rollover study.
