View deleted form records

You can view deleted repeating form rows and two-section form instances to better understand what happened to a subject's data — including why a record was deleted and what occurred between its creation and deletion. This may help inform whether a request to restore the record is appropriate.

Consider the following:
  • When viewing deleted forms that were used in multiple visits, you’ll only see them within the context of individual visits - not a comprehensive list of all deleted repeating forms across the entire study.
  • Subject or visit-level filters do not apply to the deleted form records shown on the Deleted Forms or Deleted History pages.
  • With the appropriate permissions, when looking at deleted form records, you can view hidden and classified data on the Deleted Forms or Deleted History pages.
  1. Determine in which mode you need to work. For step-by-step instructions, see Access your study in a specific mode.
  2. Along the top, make sure Subjects is selected.
  3. From the Site drop-down, select a site. For step-by-step instructions, see Filter subjects in a study.
  4. Locate the subject whose deleted data you want to review.
  5. Select the visit that you want to access.
  6. Locate the form whose deleted records you want to review:
    • When rows are deleted from a repeating form, a Deleted Forms link appears. Select that link to see all deleted repeating form records.
    • When two-section form instances are deleted, a Deleted History link appears. Select that link to see all deleted two-section form records.
